Major Reports are documents prepared by independent engineering consultants to KeySpan and National Grid, and accepted by the New York State Department of Environmental Conservation, as well as certain documents prepared by the NYSDEC. Among the reports you will find here are the Final Remedial Investigation Report which describes the environmental conditions found on the site and in its vicinity, the study which describes the alternatives that were considered in developing a Remedial Action Plan, the Remedial Action Plan itself, the Record of Decision finalizing the Remedial Action Plan and specifying the goals and objective for the remediation and the work plans which describe in detail how the Interim Remedial Measures and Remedial Action Plan will be implemented. The Traffic Assessment Plan for the excavation IRM can also be found here.

Fact Sheets are documents that have been distributed to the neighbors of the site as major reports and milestones were reached and public meetings scheduled.

Weekly Report Archive: During the excavation Interim Remedial Measure and the remedial construction phase, National Grid will provide a weekly report on activities related to the remediation of the site. The report includes a summary of the previous week’s activities and a two week forecast of planned activities, focusing on those that may impact normal community activities. The reports are archived in chronological order.

Citizen Participation Plan is a document filed by National Grid with the NYSDEC that sets out how National Grid will meet its requirements to communicate with and receive input from the community as the project moves through its various phases. The CPP is updated as each phase is reached, or when there are significant changes in the various contact lists.
